The Revit IFC interpreter does a mediocre job. I have experimented with Navisworks, Solibri Model Viewer, BIMsight and Revit. Revit seems to consistently lose geometry. The other 3 are more consistent though each can have a different interpretation of the geometry. Different modelling methods in ArchiCAD will also generate different results in IFC.
